Product Description

Cell Counting Kit-8 is a Colorimetric assay product that can measure the amount of living cells using WST-8 as its main component, It can be used for Cell Visibility Assay, Cytotoxicity Assay, etc. WST-8 is the Water Soluble Tetrazolium Salt, It is reduced by the Dehydrogenase enzyme present in the mitochondrial electron transport system of living cells to produce a water-soluble orange formazan. Since the resulting formazan is readily soluble in the culture medium, the results can be confirmed by measuring absorbance at 450 nm without a separate process.
